Crucial Colour began life on 6th February 1989 when we opened the door to our factory in Tunbridge Wells. It was freezing, the heating didn’t work and the phone lines weren’t connected (so what’s new!)

18 years later, we still own and run Crucial Colour, along with a team of 13 dedicated and long-serving staff and several long-standing supply partners. The heating usually works and the phones never stop ringing.

Clients range from corporate city firms to local charities and stretch across the UK to Europe and the USA. Our customers are incredibly loyal and, like our staff, they rarely leave. Steady growth since that first year has enabled us to invest heavily in technology and nowadays, annual turnover tops £2m. Our reputation for consistency, reliability and creativity is balanced with a healthy dose of fun.
